I currently work at Wood Plc implementing the Virtuoso suite of pipeline products on oil and gas pipelines. It's challenging work but important work to help clients all of the world better manage their assets while trying to solve process issues.

Outside of my main job, my interests are in financial market automation and building market analytics tools. My current home projects include ingesting equity, foreign currency, and cryptocurrency market data from multiple exchanges and showing them onto a dashboard very similar to TradingView's dashboard. All of my projects run on bare metal servers I host where I store data into InfluxDb, Redis, and PlanetScale. It's an interesting hobby as it teaches you how to manage a firehose of data.
